1. Fundamentals of Design
Interior Designers are charged with creating a space that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing. In order to do so interior designers must have a holistic view of the existing or not-yet existing space and imagine what could become of it. 2. Graphic Communication and Visual Presentation
The practice of Interior Design is complex and continues to evolve. The subject aims to provide a comprehensive study on drafting, lettering, sketching, presentations and rendering. 3. Design Sources and Materials

4. Residential Space Design

6. CAD- AutoCAD

1. Studio for work space (office)

The subject comprises of different types of case studies, elements of a working Space – Furniture, Furnishings, Lighting, etc.

2. Studio for Retail and Store
This subject at INIFD Siliguri helps the Interior Design students understand how retail designers are expected to create an enjoyable and hassle-free shopping experience for the consumers and design an in store retail process that increases sales while keeping the customer engaged. 7. CAD-III
The advance CAD software has great tool for quickly visualizing an interior design project. Files can be imported from the basic CAD software to develop a floor plan quickly, and a number of tools to build the walls, insert doors and windows, create and use materials, and apply special effects such as styles and shadows.
